AML/CTF Training
TrustEasy training module consolidates ten AUSTRAC training sessions and other TrustEasy proprietary materials, serving as a refresher, initial, or annual training program.
Upon finishing, staff must complete and pass the TrustEasy assessment to confirm their knowledge of AUSTRAC’s AML/CTF rules. The full training takes roughly 90 minutes.
You will receive a certificate of completion only after you successfully pass the assessment post training.
It is expected that the compliance manager goes through the entire course before undertaking the assessment. All the other client facing staff members can watch the concise training video provided by TrustEasy and undertake the assessment. We highly recommend that for the first year, all the staff members must go through the entire training provided by TrustEasy that includes AUSTRAC provided educational series.
This training is divided into 10 main parts:
- Introduction to Money Laundering and Terrorism Finance
- ML/TF Risk Assessments, Policies and AML/CTF Programs
- Roles and governance for Tranche 2 Entities
- Employee Due Diligence / Training
- ACIP (Applicable Customer Identification Procedures)
- Beneficial Owners check for Non-Individuals like Companies and trusts
- When and how of Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD)
- Types of AUSTRAC Reports that tranche 2 entities are required to submit and when
